End of Microsoft Support for Windows 10 Pro Operating System

The Windows 10 Pro operating system running on the following devices will reach end of Microsoft support on 14 October 2025. After this date, Microsoft will no longer provide free software updates, technical assistance, or security updates for Windows Pro.

The affected devices are:

  • Topcon FC-6000 with serial numbers 339670 or lower.
  • Sokkia SHC6000 with serial numbers 338888 or lower.

  • Items covered in the upgrade: Check unit suitability for upgrade; Prepare device for upgrade; Reformat system - Installation of Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC; Installation of programs - Licencing / Options authorisation files / Latest versions; Confirmation of operation and connectivity; and Surface clean with replacement of screen protector (if required).
  • Customer is responsible for their data, please make own backup before submitting for updates, we will backup files that are in their correct directories only.
  • Passwords / Pin numbers should be removed from the device before sending for upgrade.
  • Any repairs or maintenance to the device are an additional cost and customer will receive an estimation
