Aptella has two fully certified and validated NATA accredited road roughness profilers. While the bulk of Aptella’s road roughness testing is for layer compliance testing, the laser profiler can be used to determine many issues on a road surface.

Aptella uses a zero speed system inertial profiler, providing the following benefits.

  • The zero speed system does not require run-in or run-out data
  • Upgraded GPS
  • No traffic control required including major intersections or high traffic areas
  • Additional accuracy with using four gocator lasers and high accuracy INS sensors
  • Speed operating zones include 0 - 100km/hr allowing for complete stops if necessary
  • Testing to TMRQ708 and TfNSWT188 standards
