Target Audience:
This practical, hands-on course is designed to give participants the knowledge and confidence to efficiently perform construction set-out using Topcon Layout Navigator (LN-150/160), GT Series Robotic Total Stations and MAGNET Field software.
Participants will learn the complete workflow—from preparing project data through to accurately setting out points, lines and building features in the field. The course also covers best-practice equipment setup, orientation methods, common troubleshooting techniques and quality assurance procedures to ensure accurate results on every project.
With a strong focus on real-world applications, attendees will complete practical exercises that simulate common construction scenarios, allowing them to immediately apply the skills learnt back on site.
By the end of the course, participants will be able to confidently operate their equipment, complete common set-out tasks, verify completed work, and understand best practices for maintaining accuracy and productivity.
