PaveSmart

PaveSmart is a standalone system that is quick to set up, and because it is not directly connected to any survey instruments it functions in more conditions than most systems.

Survey-Based Process

  • An initial robotic total station survey determines precise asphalt paving or milling depths.
  • A paving or milling survey grid table is created and uploaded to the PaveSmart grade control system.

Automated Control

  • The system automatically controls hydraulic valves to maintain survey levels with millimetre accuracy.
  • Accounts for differential compaction in real-time.

Airport runways

Thicknesses are input into the system directly from job site CAD drawings after set out with Synergy’s survey team or from designs via the Synergy Road Scanning System.
