The Operations Manager leads and optimises day-to-day operations across rental, warehouse, and branch administration functions, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and high-quality service delivery.
This role combines operational leadership, people leadership, and process improvement, with responsibility for performance, safety, and customer outcomes.
Key accountabilities include:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team
- Drive a strong safety culture and ensure full WHS compliance across branch operations
- Oversee stock control, inventory accuracy, and rental asset lifecycle management
- Ensure effective coordination between operations, sales, service, and logistics teams
- Implement and maintain efficient workflows to improve productivity and performance
- Standardise operational processes and drive consistency across the region
- Lead onboarding, training, and continuous development of team members
- Use systems and reporting tools (including Microsoft Dynamics 365) to drive performance and decision-making
- Monitor operational performance and provide insights and recommendations for improvement
- Drive workforce planning aligned to demand and project pipelines
- Ensure compliance with freight, logistics, and regulatory requirements
- Act as a key stakeholder across regional and national teams to align operational outcomes with business strategy
- Lead safety initiatives, reporting, and continuous improvement activities across office and warehouse environments
- Oversee building and facilities management, including maintenance, security, and cost control

- Ability to work autonomously and lead remote or dispersed teams
